JUDY ZEIDLER is a well-known food authority, teacher and cookbook author of the widely-acclaimed The Gourmet Jewish Cook and recently published Italy Cooks. “Judy has devoted her life to the pursuit of great food. The combination of her extensive knowledge of American and Italian cuisine, coupled with her spirit of hospitality, is remarkable.”
Innovative Shabbat Dinners, will be presented at Kehillat Israel Reconstructionist Congregation, on Wednesday, February 1, from 10:00 a.m. to noon. You’ll learn to make challah and a gourmet chicken dinner It will feature Judy Zeidler, well-known food authority and cookbook author of the widely-acclaimed The Gourmet Jewish Cook, among many others. She and her husband are founders of several popular L.A. restaurants, and consults at Zeidler’s Café, located in the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.
This is the second in a series of Jewish cooking programs that include a 2-hour cooking demonstration followed by a delicious luncheon of all recipes presented. Join us to learn, taste, and come away with an exciting new collection of recipes.
The final sessions will feature “New Recipe Ideas for Passover” on March 21, 2012. All sessions will run from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
