Delve into the world of celebrity, image, photography, and Los Angeles at this free daylong family festival inspired by exhibitions, Herb Ritts: L.A. Style and Portraits of Renown: Photography and the Cult of Celebrity. Design a magazine cover with a photo of you as the featured celebrity. Learn how to strike a pose and dance to the sounds of Los Angeles at the end of the 20th century.

Free Yoga classes for kids will be provided by Susie Lopez. A portion of the proceeds and all donations to benefit Tara Guber’s Yoga Ed. Sounds by Monet Mazur and vegan treats and fresh juice by Pressed Juicery.

Three female employees, tired of trying to move up the corporate ladder in a male dominated world, team up against their sexist boss in this hilarious workplace revenge comedy. Walk for Warriors is a fun, community-oriented 5K run/walk to take place on Memorial Day, May 28, 2012 at the West LA Veterans Affairs Campus. Proceeds from Walk for Warriors will help New Directions provide transitional services for returning veterans. By participating in Walk for Warriors, you will help support our nation’s veterans and the thousands of men and women who are currently serving our country.
